It may depend on what kind of phone you have, as well as what data plan you have. My Samsung Note 5 comes with a mobile hotspot app. I'm currently on a T-Mobile 'senior' plan with unlimited data, so that wouldn't be an issue - if the data speed is fast enough. I don't know because I've never tried to use it. I suspect it might be an issue, but I'm not really interested (yet, at least) in doing any esignings.
What you may be thinking of as being unsafe are public wi-fi access places (like Starbucks, etc.), where the password you enter to sign in is the same for everyone. Any user using that particular wi-fi network server would be easy pickings for someone trying to hack into their device. DISCLAIMER: I'm not an expert on this. Just what I've been able to learn... |
