I LOVE THAT YOU DID THIS, NOTARYDI

What a wonderful tribute...

this past month, my bro was scheduled for a rotary cuff surgery at the VA, he arrived on time, sat around in the waiting room for a while, and someone came out and said that his arm implant was misplaced, or didn't get shipped, or some lame excuse, he was not going to be undergoing this long awaiting surgery so that he could once again use the arm that held artillery in VN in the 70s.

He went back for all the pre ops...the arm was found, finally, without having to remanufacture it in France, and he's going for it before it becomes MIA again. Really, would a citizen sign up to serve their country if they knew they''d have to endure this kind of incompetence??? He goes again November 9th for surgery and we're keeping our fingers crossed it will go smoothly.

Don't mean to be ungrateful, but amazingly, my brother may finally get his due...

I'm happy for this gentlemen to receive such an honor.

Why don't our Vets receive the recognition they deserve? Incredibly now and again...my brother was green, 18, and put his life on the line, like so many young men. Like your husband, DI.

Yet, he's lucky to be alive today.
