Regardless of what namestyle she uses, the fees have always been low. Guess she got comfortable and decided to go even lower. <smh> $30 for any signing is too low.
As an example: I've got a DOT only signing on 12/15/18 about 2 blocks from my home. Scheduled yesterday, received overnighted document today. Agreed fee of $50 will be paid as soon as DOT is received by contracting party (lender). No printing, no scanbacks, just get it signed, notarize and drop (Fedex drop off is en route).
Regardless of what their sales pitch is, we must remember we set our own fees. If hiring party agrees, great! If not, move it on out. Sometimes I let them practice their spiel then ask my questions and give my quote. Other times when I'm not feeling generous or I'm rushed, I jump in with my questions and quote. I may not work as much as other NSAs by my setting my own fees and not just jumping to accept whatever is offered. But, I feel comfortable with my MO.
