BearPaw, Yes, California notaries can perform Pavaso & Amrock signings. A wet signature is still required. Notaries in CA are prohibited as you stated from performing remote notarization's. The Pavaso platform can accommodate "remote notarization" were applicable.
A while a go (2 years) I had a "remote" notarization done online just for the fun of it. It cost $25 per notarization at that time. The online generated notary seal was the circular style and it did have the wording "electronic Notary Public"
