I realize all of this, as they state they pay the 15th of the following month for all prior month's closings. Today is the 19th no check and only 200 miles away. So just wanted to find out if they don't send a check by the 25th I need a further plan of action to guarantee results. Just requesting nicely and saying please doesn't go too far.
A brand new company for me, not getting off to a good start. I researched the title company, looks like a very good one, so not sure what the heck is going on. They say they have no post-closing, and each person you deal with is in charge of their own transaction. Another very strange factoid. If they do not remit by the 25th I will post the name. Monday is a holiday, so Tuesday I will be back on the phone once again.
The main reason I hate picking up new accounts, however, you would think a title company would be a safe bet. Chasing payments is not for me, 45 days is my limit if stated up front. This is pushing the bar. |
