I second that. Years ago someone presented a generic Will to me from Staples I think, already pre-filled out and it was a "since I was there, do you mind notarizing this?" type of thing. One look at it, prefilled and generic, I refused to do it. This could be similar where she had already previously filled in the witness area, who knows. It happens. Left to their own devices, people sign away...Even when we get the packages sent right to the borrowers, BIG INSTRUCTIONS>> DO NOT SIGN UNLESS IN FRONT OF NOTARY...what do people do? This person could just be blaming the notary because it was rejected. Who knows te truth. |
