Sorry to hear that. I am not familiar with Notary Cloud, but it's "Notary Beware" when it comes to applications.
If the borrower decides NOT to go through, many do not pay. You need to make sure up front that the application is not a part of the signing and expect to get paid timely <30 days and in addition to be called first for the actual closing.
Many want to lump it together into one payment AFTER the closing (if it happens) which could be months away, you maybe cannot take the closing if booked so waited all that time and then still trying to collect. |
