area - in my area I can get on board with what you said in your post ... borrowers around here aren't as "on board" with new technology - but we're getting there....the major problem here will be internet service as it's sporadic or non-existent for the most part.

But this comment... "Not even on my radar of things that will affect my closings and almost 99% certain nobody will ask me to do one" - I think you may want to rethink it - think this is going to affect you far more than you want to believe. Courts already accept e-filings...why would the clerk not be able to accept e-recordings?? It's quicker and will most likely be more economical in the long run.
