I have now received 5 calls and 2 messages from 888-810-0733 - digitized male voice announces... "This is the social security administration - we have placed a block on your SSA number - press 1 for further information."
On the first call I immediately hung up and went online to the OIG Office of Inspector General to report the attempt at social security fraud. If you have elderly relatives who may not be socially alert to these dangers, call them today on this latest one.
