So, you literally have "no clue" what it is I deal in but you are sure its not going to work. Nice.

If you are killing it doing notary - great. But I literally made over $8k last week and I yes I worked hard for it. I doubt anyone on this board did that being a signing agent and I suspect nobody has ever done that being a signing agent unless they are on a national platform of some sort. That would take 53 signings a week making $150 on each. That is far beyond the scope of an individual signer. I did that in 10 apts.

Don't get me wrong, I did not come here to dump on signing agents. I specifically came here to reach out to people that I know for a fact have similar skills to mine that would translate to what I am doing. And you are simply wrong about the connection between signing agents and insurance sales. There is a lot in common. Of course it's not identical, but much of the work flow is similar.

I am in the position of knowing if thats true because I have dealt in both worlds. This is primarily mortgage protection insurance and there is a huge demand for it. Every client you sign documents with in their home is a potential client who will get marketed to nationally for this coverage. A signing agent LITERALLY BEATS ALL THE NATIONAL MARKETING to that client given that you are the first one they see. Also, given that signing agents already know much of the lingo, it's a natural fit. You already have established trust and repoire. You can simply add the concept to the end of your signing process and make a second apt to get the mortgage protected with a policy. The average commission on a one hour apt that results in a sale is $500 bucks.

And yes, it is 100% commission. In recent years I had $145k salary position and would not go back to save my life because of what I found here. If the opportunity is large enough, you don't worry about things like a benefits and health care.

I cannot tell you the opportunity that signing agents have to do this. You industry is literally sitting in the spot every insurance agent would kill to be in. In front of BRAND NEW Home owners who have not yet had the opportunity to hear about mortgage protection policies.

Learn it and add it to what you are already doing.
