I am also a Realtor and a member of the California Association of Realtors. I will be contacting them tomorrow along with my Assembly person to advocate against this law. There is already so much fraud in real estate, we need to continue to protect the public.

I have been a Notary in California since 1995. There have been many times I have had to decline to notarize because the person didn't understand what they were signing or didn't have valid ID.
