in 2010 (unless you already know the answer) - if not required, I'd get it in writing from the SoS and present it to the person issuing the subpoena; if it WAS required and you didn't keep one, or you have destroyed them, I'm not sure what to tell you - good idea to maybe notify your E&O carrier...or you may possibly need to consult an attorney.
No matter what, don't ignore the subpoena - they usually give you time limits on responding to them or producing what they want - respond somehow - and hope Brenda/TX sees this post and either pops in or responds privately to you to help you out - I think she'd know best...or Mike or Hugh?
