I had one last month at a title company where his name was example "John Smith" and signed "Mike Smith" His Legal name is John, says John on the DL but signed Mike and signed on his DL as Mike. Docs said John, but accepted the Mike since he signed that way on DL. I was glad I was at a title company closing and not a home closing for that one.
People are just weird.
