Re: Legal vs Letter

Unfortunately, they will not go to the time, trouble and expense revamping their software to make all on letter-size just to accommodate the notary. The programs are all hardwired into their computers. Title companies have no problems with getting legal-size paper, so truthfully that is not an excuse. It's out there. Many will allow you to print letter sized as long as not cut off, but I do not ruffle feathers and ask. I always print the buyer's package on letter size (scale to fit) and use the dual tray for the one they get back. I just did 90 pages of legal, so I feel the pain. The best you can probably do is increase your fee $10.00 to make up the difference, but risk losing that client.
