Working on the other side, I know this is never done intentionally. In a perfect world, 2 hours is the norm however, not everything fits in that box. If I am available it's fine. At 1 hour from closing, I call the borrower and tell them I still do not have the package and ask their flexibility, and I see if they knew what the hold up is, and have them call their LO. It's a case by case. If I have another closing, I have to put this one to the back of the line or turn it back. It's really rare I give a closing back, but just roll with the flow. |
