That "island in the Pacific" has been a state for 58 years. He's a Federal judge, that's his job, and you, Mr. Sessions, voted to confirm him. To say now that he shouldn't be weighing in on Federal cases is an insult to both the State of Hawaii and the judge.
Meanwhile, Jeff, of all those US Attorneys you fired a month or so ago, not a single one has been replaced. Shouldn't that be your focus at this point instead of what a judge you approved of is doing on an "island in the Pacific"? US Attorneys often look into corrupt business practices - are we trying to avoid that?
In line with that, the Trump administration has still not even tried to fill hundreds of jobs that are subject to Senate confirmation. This has left entire departments with no leadership. How do you run a government this way? |
