You, on the other hand, seem to have a very real problem with reading comprehension. Maybe your brain is just foggy. Go back and READ what I wrote in the OP - it was Trump's statements about the non-existent tapes I was referring to. He's the one who said the bluff was intended to force Comey to tell the truth. Trump thinks his bluff worked, so that indicates he believes Comey must have been telling the truth.
I agree that the logical connection you mentioned makes no sense, but since I never attempted to make it, I really don't care what you think. It's not my problem.
