Your number (52%) is from a December 2016 poll, not the "new poll commissioned by WAPO" in reference to the number who believe Trump won the popular vote.
http://tinyurl.com/ycacnbxr To be fair, Mike, even with a link to the correct poll, the numbers would still be crazy, but at least it would be the current numbers in the poll.

This new poll was made up of 650 people (via internet questions/responses) who self describe as "leaning" towards the Republican party, not 650 people who self describe as Republicans (i.e. full on Republican supporters).

I'm not sure just how scientific polls via internet where the person answering the questions cannot be verified can be.

Regardless, I would assume that some of the respondents who agreed that Trump won the popular vote and also some of the ones who would go along with delaying the 2020 elections probably were from people who answered the way they actually believed. Low information voters like that are just as sad as the ones in videos years ago where someone asked Obama supporters if they supported "Obama's views" on certain topics (the views attributed to Obama were actually those publicly stated to be those of McCain or Romney - Republicans not Obama or Dems) and the people answered that they backed "Obama's idea/views" based on what they were told at that moment. They didn't really know what Obama or his opponents actually stood for. Some of these respondents in this new WAPO are, imo, just as ignorant when it comes to politics in the US and our government.

We have all known for a long time that, overall, the vast majority of American voters are truly ignorant when it comes to voting, the candidates running, how our government works, political parties, etc. regardless of the voter's actual level of education. Polls like the one in the OP and video's such as the ones I mention just confirm this.
