1. Donald Trump endorsed Luther Strange in the Republican primary for Jeff Sessions' Senate seat in Alabama. Strange was appointed by the governor after Sessions became AG, making him the incumbent. Trump attended a rally for Strange on Friday and has made multiple statements on Twitter in support of Strange, including a few Tuesday morning urging people to vote for him.
2. Strange lost the primary to Crazy Roy Moore (google him to see some of the nutty things he has said and done) by 10 points.
3. Early this morning, Donald Trump (or someone working for him) deleted every tweet Trump ever made supporting Luther Strange in what appears to be a ham-handed attempt to erase the proof that he backed the wrong horse in this race- it's as if it never happened. Or so he thinks. Unfortunately for him, the tweets have been archived. And we have video.
