If I am not mistaken, when Obama said he wanted to keep his Blackberry there were discussions regarding if he should do this or not because, by law, everything (phone calls, text & emails) he might send using it would have to be kept as part of the permanent public record of presidential communications. If that was the case then how is it that President Trump is allowed to delete even a single past tweet?
As I remember, the arguments regarding Obama and his Blackberry were from his own side, so it wasn't a political partisan issue, they were actual legal questions and responsibilities being discussed regarding if he should decide to keep and use his Blackberry.
This isn't a political or partisan question, it is a legal one that, regardless of political party, should be asked and answered without regard to political party.
IMO, Republicans in AL need to find a really good Libertarian to run against that nuttier than squirrel sh*+ Roy Moore, and Democrats need to make sure that they don't run a far left loon either. |
