Also, two things should be noted:
1) a lot of legal scholars disagree with Dershowitz about this and other things. He is by no means the final arbiter, and from what I've been reading it looks like he's trying to parlay his opinions into a seat on SCOTUS; and
2) Flynn doesn't have to be a witness. He just has to supply information that the prosecutor can verify. Especially in an investigation at this level, no prosecutor is just going to assume that any info provided by a witness they flipped is true - they're going to verify, and if they can't they won't use it. |
