Scott Pruitt

Why is this man still the head of the EPA?

Setting aside the fact that he took the job with the stated intention of closing down the agency, and has been doing his best to roll back regulations that were intended to protect our air and water, he is probably the most ethically challenged member of Trump's cabinet, and possibly of any cabinet in the past 50 years.

He has been spending taxpayer dollars as if he was given a limitless ATM card. First class travel for him, his entourage, and his 24x7 security detail. $40,000+ for a secure phone booth in his office. Thousands more for biometric locks on his office doors. Personal travel with his security team paid for by the American taxpayer. A sweetheart deal on renting a room from a lobbyist in Washington with business before the EPA that was WAY below market rate. Requests for an armored vehicle (denied) and to be able to use lights and sirens to get him through DC traffic on his way to meetings as well as to dinner engagements (also denied). Reassignment of employees who rightfully questioned his spending habits. Raises illegally given to close aides after the WH denied them.

We were told that this administration was going to "drain the swamp". Pruitt has created his own personal swamp. Why is he still in office?? More importantly, do the Trumpsters even care about this corruption? Some of them do - Fox News raked him across the coals in an interview, because even they couldn't look the other way anymore.

So why does he still have a job?
