The same valid argument you make about booze and tobacco could be made against the pharma companies that produce opioids and push them into communities in amounts that far exceed what the communities could ever need. Lots of lives being lost from those products as well.
I think the problem is that banks that suddenly get a social conscience about who they will or won't loan money to are going to walk into a mine-field of social causes they should or shouldn't support. |
