I am more on the side of jnew. it is your business, and you are allowed to define your customer base, plain and simple.
Now, if you offend some people, so be it, let the public decide if THEY want to do business with YOU.
in the case of the Looney in Lexington, the repercussions have been instant Karma.
Her and her "staff" not only refused service, they followed them around town to make sure no one else would serve them.
Restaurant is closed over the 4th of July weekend, probably forever, staff is about to lose their jobs, and the proprietor lost her position on the team that is supposed to promote Lexington.
