Clueless
Posted by MikeC/TX of TX on 8/18/18 10:06pm Msg #71933
On the heels of President Pinocchio's tweet that social media was censoring conservatives (Alex Jones is not a conservative commentator - he is an admitted phony spreading hate and conspiracy theories for profit), House Republican Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy sent out a tweet as an example of how Twitter was blocking conservative speech because he was unable to see something Laura Ingraham posted.

He included a screenshot of the blocking message he received, and it was immediately apparent to anyone who has been on Twitter for more than 10 minutes that it was blocked because HIS OWN TWITTER SETTINGS block potentially objectionable content. You have to turn that on yourself, and you are free to turn it off and see whatever garbage anyone posts. It's your decision, not Twitter's.

Anyone who doesn't understand how to use the service should not be allowed anywhere near it. Self-inflicted wound by the Congressman, but it was more convenient politically for him to blame Twitter than to admit his mistake. His account should be deleted.
