I remember using these pinhole devices - you never actually looked at the sun, and they worked fine.

I read the other day that Amazon is refunding sales of what they discovered to be counterfeit solar glasses on their website; what kind of lowlife sells products that could potentially damage someone's eyes just to make a couple of bucks?
