Be careful, air quality is horrible during and after fires. Then, when all is extinguished and the wind picks up all the particles and ash, you've got more bad stuff airborne, bad for respiratory. I'm still fighting a sore throat and raspy throat, the last fire was less than a month ago. This weekend was terribly hazy to the northwest where 70 acres burned mostly vegetation, but animals get burned too when they don't scramble to safety. Nothing good comes of these fires. A lot of people will be rebuilding, a lot won't. It's strange isn't it, we spend our whole lives collecting and saving, and it can go up in smoke in a matter of minutes! |
