Yep. Over Christmas holiday, fully exposed to flu and pneumonia that sent my neighbor to hospital for 4 days. Less than a couple of weeks ago, sat in hospital for 2 days and nights with very dear friend who went in for emergency gallbladder surgery with complications. Now, spent all weekend mostly in bed coughing and sneezing. Haven't been sick in several years. Guess I was due.  Luckily, I'd had my flu and pneumonia shot in 2017 so things aren't as bad as they could be.
Oh well. Made a big pot of chicken soup and work is slow. Silver lining on everything.  |
