Sorry to hear you've both been sick. Hope you're back to good health very soon!

I heard just this morning that while the flu shot may not be a great match for the strains going around this year, as Yoli said, it can still keep the flu from getting as severe as it might without out one. So it's still worth getting - and not too late for anyone who hasn't had one yet this year. One worthwhile tip I heard for those who do get sick is to not spend too much time totally horizontal. If you sleep a bit propped up, it may prevent infection from settling in lungs, which I believe is what's caused the majority of hospitalizations. (Google for more details, if concerned.)

Two more months until flu season is over...
