Sounds like a great place to visit. I assume the "little people" were children of the family or are there pigmies on the island?
Hard to beat the Caribbean or the south pacific. We have been to Hawaii a number of times and to Bavaro Beach Punta Cana Dominican Republic.

We have never been south of the border and hope to visit about this time next year. Destination(s): San Miguel de Allende, and possibly Mexico City (Roma Norte and Condesa neighborhoods).
Never been there, no hablas Esponial, but doing a great amount of Youtubing and can't understand why we never considered it, not even a thought.
We enjoy following this young couple from Dallas, TX who have moved there. Both college grads, she has a masters and is a CPA. Greg the Gringo does pretty well speaking Spanish and yes, he has been told he resembles Leonardo dicaprio.
