I was joking about speaking better English. Most people in the States can also learn to speak English better. It's the only language I currently know. I find some accents are more fun to listen to than others. I've been to New Jersey, New York, Virginia and Boston and loved hearing the local accents. They like hearing a CA accent too. "I have an accent?" "You sure do!" Ha!
I am most fascinated with Italian (love everything Italian) but learning Spanish is better suited for traveling there as I hope to as soon as I get both knees rotated and balanced. 
I did get through lesson four and surprised myself on the amount I picked up. Most of us hear a lot of Spanish words so can quickly identify some of them. Singular vs plural, masculine vs feminine phrases, possessive vs oh, I don't know...still working on it. Supposed to be the easiest language to learn.
Still, it's humbling. I got carried away and actually researched how babies can learn more than one language. They have us beat!
