Thanks for the reminder. I commemorated the day by finally getting rid of a bunch of recyclables that have been cluttering up my garage for longer than I care to admit. Felt very good to get that done, finally! However, I still need to make a trip to the place that handles hazardous materials recycling to get rid of a big bag full of old bottles of toner back from the days when I used to refill my own cartridges. (I sure don't miss that!) I also have a bag of used batteries & old halogen bulbs. I think it's time for me to make that a priority and actually put that trip into my calendar! Better to not have them around at all...  |
