It also sounds pretty easy, to say nothing of being very economical.
Do you have a favorite tomato paste you use? I've seen some folks on the Food Channel use tomato paste out of a tube, which makes lots of sense, unless you use it daily, which I don't. I always used to find myself throwing out most of even a small can of it. (Plus, I'm trying to eliminate cans as much as possible.)
The only thing I'd leave off this recipe is the cilantro... I must have the gene that makes it taste nasty. |
