Blue and grey lines...what are they for?

Burning the midnight oil...No actually I'm waiting for my daughter Smile she is coming from another city. I'm dying to see her. well I was noticing on NR that there are blue lines and grey lines in front of Notary's name when we search for a Notary by zip. what do the grey lines and blue lines mean? is it experience, ...what is it ? will appreciate inputs. Thanks
