Looking up a bunch of deadbeat signing services who've bit the dust in 2013 and discovered that one company has dissolved it's corporate status in the State of California and just updated November 27, 2013.

So they must be operating as a Sole Proprietorship?

It appears to be a ‘Wind Down and Dissolution’

filed by the corporation.

From the list of definitions on the website, the definition of ‘dissolution’ is as follows:

'Dissolved: Domestic corporations – The business entity filed a Certificate of Dissolution, or a copy of a court order, decree or judgment declaring the business entity dissolved, and the powers, rights and privileges of the entity have ceased in California.'

"Dissolved Secretary of State" - they probably failed to file their annual report, so it was an administrative dissolution - in which case until they reinstate they are operating illegally in the state of CA - this happened to another company some time ago that we discussed here - that info is on the SOS website as to what the dissolution means for the corporation.
