I found out how to get the phone to ring

I'm at Palm Springs for a few days and the SSs have called twice every day. Of course I can't do the closings. I think there is a natural law about business picking up when you're out of town.

You're absolutely correct, HSH! It has never failed for me. Go out of town - for whatever reason - and phone rings all the way to destination and while there. It's just uncanny!

One time I was on vacation . . .

And they called for a job. I reminded them I was not at home. They asked where I was, and when I told them, they wanted to know if I could squeeze a signing in at my vacation town. (No, I didn't bring my stuff.)
