TCs actively seeking NNA members, What about AAN members?
Title Source, Inc. and ValuAmerica are actively seeking NNA members to join their networks of Notaries handling loan-signing assignments.
Their announcements can be found here:
Title Source
ValuAmerica
Both companies are members of the Signing Professionals Workgroup, which last week announced the Certified Signing Specialist Standards. ValuAmerica has already announced its plans to adopt the Standards as of January 1, 2014.

Re: ValuAmerica in SC is bleak and low
Valuamerica aided and abetted Kirkish and Mendoza in the scamming over more than 24 notaries over $30,000 in unpaid fees before taking off to Cancun, weekend in Las Vegas, renting a posh home in Wildomar, CA, getting new boobs that would float a submarine and purchasing new home furnishings. All on the backs of hardworking notaries with families to provide for.
No one at VA bothered to vet ANS and allowed one of the owners with a conviction record of ID Fraud and Forgery to lay eyes on thousands of borrowers and notaries' personal and financial information.
Their credibility is at zero with me.

This just means that XYZ has been very active in selling
their snake oil. It appears they went after signing services, etc. Again, they can create the demand, but what happens when if fails on the supply side. These cos. stand to lose some of the best in the biz. Again, who's setting & selling the "standards"? hahahaha

Re: Read the Value America Agreement!
I didn't read through the whole agreement before cancelling, but it looks like they charge an annual fee to their vendors and a charge per assignment accepted. Please tell me if I'm wrong.
