I used to be like that back in the day, about 6 steady clients and kept me busy enough I didn't need to add anyone else and liked it for years. New clients are scary when you get comfortable. It's like going on a blind date.
After our "great recession" and hard times, and especially jumping back in the game from my time in title, it's better to get as many as you can and be everyone's' #1 they call first than sit and wait for your regulars. It's been working well, I am very busy and about 300% increase in revenue. I am very diversified now...and a nice mix of sitting at title companies, working with SS's and a few direct clients as well.
