The number ONE reason I am a mobile notary-you can count on Nothing Much from SS<social security.

So I am (and many others) will have the Luxury of working until we fall over dead.
This is the reason I raise Heck when I hear about $40 & $50 buck notaries. Our fees are "life and death" for us. Most of us are trying to make a living - pay the mortgage<so we can stay in our homes-and not be forced into a 1 bedroom apartment after working our Guts out all our lives. Keep the heat and lights on,..etc. I challenge anyone out there to LIVE on some $800 bucks a month. So when you see some "old person" at Wally World offering you a shopping cart -at least Smile at them-they could very possibly be you in a few years.

I am blessed that I have some background with banking loans and title work, at least when I out lived my usefullness to the "High Rollers" I was able to start doing loan signings. I am not revealing this information to you because I want anyone to feel sorry for me, I do not want that. The point I am trying to make is #1. Old age is going to happen to everyone. #2. Do not count on any company or government agency to worry about you (remember Enron, and others') 3. YOU are the "Captain of your own ship" 4. Prices for Everything is going UP UP, not down. 4. PROTECT the Notary Signing Business and demand your fees. This is truly the ONLY business where your age works for you and you can do it until the end (assuming) you can still think!!

There are even rougher times to come in this great country of ours. It is a great country, but as Americans we are Falling apart. Simple, we do not Care enough to worry about others and their plight. Caring about others is not just when there is a tragedy-but more of day to day events that affect everyone (no special displays that you have Given) to be displayed to everyone. It's hard work and takes a little time to display your caring - a kind word to another-volunteer- What ever you can do HELPS! When was the last time you even said Hello to an older neighbor, or just complain and how slow they move? When did you write, fax and call your Congressman to try and change Things??

If, nothing else think about Yourself and what's in store for you. Do something about it now, not later!!!

I am very fortunate and thank God everyday - for everyday He gives me to try a little harder. A lot of people are not as lucky. None of us knows what the future holds in store for us-you are young and strong with a lot going for you, but please remember that "Nothing is forever" so try to be prepared. As for the older generation - No! we are not "know it all's" nor are we are trying to boss you around ! We are trying to WARN you! Do something NOW! Protect your Future. Unless you are planning on "kicking off" at age 40, you better be Worried.

If you really believe being a Notary Signing Agent is "Worth the trouble" we would do best to defend it NOW and save the Profession!!!! I keep turning down calls from $40-$50 companies-it's just an insult and slap in the face (not to mention their Attitude) wish I could be around to see them get old! lol

Please don't think these comments are "Dooms Day" stuff. They happen to be the 21st Century reality. Speaking for myself - I am Living proof although you are wrinkled - stiff in the mornings and get tired just a little bit sooner then 20/years ago- You cry more from the "things" you see (We have seen them so many time before) it's as if we just can't learn from Past mistakes. You are still thinking - you still have Feelings - You Can learn (anything) you want to - You Still strive to achieve - You still want to be a Part of a community and communicate with your fellowman. Nothing different from the younger generation - we're just older. Use your time wisely - Live, Love and Hold dear the truely important things in your Life - No guarantees in this life - just You and your God.

God Bless You All
