it could be very difficult for these third parties to maintain credibility with title/escrow and lenders. I had an offer from CX yesterday for $125 60 miles away, full faxbacks. I told them that fee is WAY too low for the scope of work. Let them spend some time finding a pro to take their low offers. These days we're all too busy with great offers to spin our wheels and work for peanuts, especially during COVID-19 when we're spending more money to be safe. The scheduler told me she is only making $125 on the order. Well, that's too bad. Trying to undercut their competition is not my problem.
These companies will have to hire inexperienced novices to take these assignments, and we all know what that means...damage control by the correction police, spending more money to clean up the mess.
Let's all stand firm for better signing fees! Not taking their calls, blocking their texts and emails is a great start. |
