Rip-off report? What a pile of crap. I see absolutely nothing wrong with the notary's actions, and to post that up and leave it there is criminal. I happened to be doing loan signings back in 2007, and a good percentage of the borrowers had no business getting a loan. Then, sitting down and having them say they have to read all the loan documents would be the icing on the cake. I would've adjourned the signing on the spot. Luckily, someone got a clue and started sending the settlement statement three days ahead of time. However, clueless borrowers like that should not have even qualified for a mortgage. You must have a lot of free time on your hands, NOTARY Virginia, to dig up crap like that.
