 CA Acknowledgment- Pronouns
Posted by Nobody_CA on 10/3/22 11:39pm

What's the issue with using an acknowledgment that is "personalized," i.e. only the correct pronouns are on the form? My sister had a deed rejected by the county recorder, with 1 of the 2 reasons "her," "she," etc. on the were on the form instead of the multiple pronouns.

My usual method is to use certificates with all the pronouns and simply cross out the inapplicable ones. Has this changed to simply leave the certificate as is and not cross anything out?
