Claims of fraud by lender and I'm getting called to court
Posted by Bear74 on 10/17/23 7:53pm

I did a signing last year for a guy and his grandma. The property was being deeded to him. I was served with papers that allege fraud from everyone from the title company down to the notary (Me). It's alleged that he was defrauding her and that everyone in the process of the loan-Title co, mortgage co, real estate agent, etc, including me, was in on it. I'm to be in LA Superior Court on Thursday morning. Any advice? I did was I was supposed to, print the paperwork, show up, verify her ID, have her sign. That's it.
