I think this is the last time I will do an outside signing. I felt bad because it was an older couple that could barely walk that insisted signing outside. When I arrived there was a table outside (excellent) but no chairs (ugh). I insisted that the client bring chairs to sit in and that we would be signing 200 pages. I refuse to be hunched over for over an hour. So finally we have three chairs and begin signing in cold and wind. Now spending time securing documents from flying. The older man who barely could walk to the seat signs at the slowest pace I’ve seen and insists on reading every document and even refused to sign the prelim report bc he says he didn’t see it. So we set that aside while escrow officer emails him this report. I tell him I have another signing amd I have to be done in 40 minutes (after 30 of signing). We finally finish in 90 minutes ! Wow. If I didn’t say anything it would have taken 3 hours though. Do you guys have a cut off as to when you leave if they take over x amount of time ? I’d like to know. And do you insist on inside signing ? I will from this point until March or April. Thanks for listening to me vent gente ! Gracias.
