Was that done by the Sacramento County Recorder by any chance? (Someone there also rejects certs that personalize the pronouns and don't leave all three options, with the correct one selected.) I think there's someone in that office who's a very literal thinker - and very strict with interpretations.
I could see them rejecting it if someone dated it with DD/MM/YYYY, the format used nearly everywhere else in the world, but I don't see how military format could be misinterpreted. I've had a small number of signers use that in the past without any issues. |
