My prediction is FL property values in 5 to 10 years will surpass those in California. Our weather is not bad 50's-70's in the winter and high of mid 80-90s in the summer. Hurricanes tend to hit the panhandle or veer off...rarely any major droughts or fires.
I hope it doesn't happen as we are overcrowded already, but our rent prices are some of the highest in the country already. We don't have the mountains but we do have beautiful beaches year-round to enjoy...we shall see.
IF CA runs out of water it's going to happen sooner than that or into other states anyway.
