Got a signing and I know it is going to be wrong
Posted by Gary Boehm on 11/24/09 9:01am

This is in 3o minutes from now. Went out last Thursday and borrowers would not sign because it put the property in both of their names. The insisted that it was to be in his name only. So I get the reschedule (they liked me and specifically asked for me to come out again). Now I look at the docs and it is all in his name ok, but her name is not on the Mortgage at all, and not on the RTC, etc. Called the SS (big one - says they are VERY FAST), they called Title and was told her name doesn't have to be on ANYTHING. They are married and this is on Ohio.
Ok, so this will mean a third trip out for me to fix this later but I'd rather get this done right this second time. But what am I to do? I think I am going to take double sets out. Have them sign they way I was told, and then have them sign the right way and send the whole thing in.
Or hold onto the RIGHT set and send them in when they call me back lol.
