I have an ASUS Eee PC, and am very happy with it. It has the best keyboard I've seen in a netbook (important for my fat fingers), and the 10.1" screen is very readable even with my poor eyesight. Battery life on my model 1000HE is about 6-7 hours; with the newer model 1005HA, it's supposed to be about 9 hours.

You can get them at Best Buy, but the model they sell is pretty much stripped down from what I understand - 4 hour battery life, and some of the bells and whistles are missing. I bought mine on Amazon; you can go there to check out the customer reviews. There are several different models, so you need to spend a few minutes understanding the differences.
