With the current version of the Square app, I've discovered that I can enter their info manually while I'm on the phone with them, including entering an email addy or text #, if they're OK with getting electronic receipts. It saves me a few steps, so I have no other follow-up to do. Love those! Of course, if it's a repeat customer for whom you're always entering info manually, an authorization form is probably great to have. I nearly always see my repeat clients in person, so that's not been an issue for me. |
