and have borrowers sign. Never had a problem.

I have now taken to having borrowers initial the Def page of the TIL as a matter of course, as well.

When I very first started down this highway, I had borrowers initial every page, because it passed before them at my presentation, and it was their loan. Never had a problem there.

Nobody walks into any work-a-day-world fully prepared for every eventuality, including the Mobile Notary world - it's said that every 'desk' takes around a year to learn.

After almost eight years as the Coastal Flyer serving thousands of my fine neighbors with professional and responsible service - combining notary law, careful observation, and common sense continues to serve me well.

I say, Document the File. A very good rule and Best Practice.
